Fike Acquires Rafiki Protection Ltd.

Fike, a leader in commercial and industrial safety solutions, announced that it has acquired Rafiki Protection Ltd., a UK-based manufacturer of fire alarm systems. The acquisition also includes Santana Solutions Ltd., a building security systems integration company. Both companies were previously owned by Red Dot Technologies Ltd.

Rafiki, located in South Wales UK, was established in 1994 and has become known for innovative fire alarm technologies, including conventional and intelligent panels and detectors. The company has established a strong presence and distribution in the UK, and has expanded distribution into mainland Europe and other regions. Rafiki products have won accolades in Europe for excellence in design aesthetics.

Fike's current fire alarm product offering consists of UL/FM approved systems, which have been marketed to date primarily in the United States. Fike systems include conventional and intelligent panels and detectors, along with graphical event management systems and LED annunciators, integrated smoke control, integrated voice evacuation, video fire detection, and air sampling smoke detection.
