Tyco Fire Protection Products has introduced and ANSUL 300-bar INERGEN system featuring iFLOW clean agent delivery technology, the latest innovation in its lineup of engineered fire suppression systems. The use of iFLOW technology offers multiple benefits, including reduced costs, more discharge performance and maximized use of available space for design engineers, installation contractors and end-users.

The INERGEN 300-bar fire suppression system also addresses many of the previous concerns associated with inert gas systems. The 300-bar pressure increases the available agent in each container and the iFLOW valve reduces peak pressure, regulating the flow at a nominal pressure of 60 bar (870 psi) while maintaining the ability to achieve 95 percent of the system design concentration within 60 or 120 seconds. This enables engineers to reduce storage container footprint, pipe schedule, and pressure venting requirements.

In addition to reducing peak pressure, the iFLOW horizontal check valve minimizes installation time by facilitating the interconnection of containers and, in many cases, eliminates the need for a discharge manifold. The system's matrix bracketing offers design flexibilty even in the most complex architectural spaces; this allows storage containers to be installed in traditional rows or around objects. The design flexibilty also enables quicker removal of containers during recharge and maintenance procedures.

INERGEN iFLOW technology also features an acoustic nozzle solution which decreases sound levels to an acceptable range for most hard disks in data centers. As with iFLOW technology, Tyco supports every innovation with extensive testing as well as third-party listings and approvals to ensure compliance with applicable stadards.
