Extinguishing Burning Liquid Natural Gas

New Impulse Technologies has  extinguished pool with burning liquid natural gas (LNG).

The extinguishing test was performed with the use of technology Impulse Storm, by means of two stationary installations UIS-48S. The extinguishing had taken place on a specially prepared test field PMS, city Paulinia, state San Paolo, Brazil, volume of liquid gas – 1000 liters. The depth of the pool was 1.5 meters.

The extinguishing process was completed within three seconds, the burning process was terminated, there was no re ignition and the unburned gas remained in the pool.

This experiment has been made for the first time in the world, without preliminary preparation and without preliminary training.
